85 heating problem
Posted: Wednesday, May 30, 2007 12:33 PM (UMST)
My fiero has 56k and was running great then started overheating. The thermostate wa stuck, I removed it and the car was o.k.. I replaced it and the car still overheated. Now I think I blew a head gasket, it has no power and sounds weak. I am not driving it now and have no water in the oil. I am getting a rattle sound off the top end. Any similar experience? It is the 2.8 auto and I am in ari-no-zona by phoenix.

If it turns out you need an engine, let me know I am parting out an '86 that has a good engine. You can see pictures here http://azgodfather.smugmug.com/gallery/2908214#156558678

The engine had 63K miles when it was wrecked.
